1. Create or Sign In to Your Autodesk Account Visit the Autodesk Education Community : education.autodesk.com. Sign Up or Log In : Use your school email or credentials to create an account if you don't already have one. Verify Your Eligibility : Follow the prompts to verify that you’re a student or educator. You may need to upload documents like a school ID or an enrollment letter.
2. Download Revit Select Revit : Once logged in, go to the "Get Products" section and select Revit . Choose Version and System Requirements : Choose the version you need, your operating system, and the language. Download the Installer : Click Install Now , Download Now , or Browser Download , depending on the available options.
3. Install Revit Run the downloaded installer. Follow the on-screen instructions: Agree to the terms and conditions. Select the installation directory (or leave it as default). Wait for the installation process to complete.
4. Activate the Autodesk Education License During Installation Sign in with your Autodesk account to link your license to your installation when prompted. After Installation Launch Revit. You’ll be prompted to activate the software. Sign in with your Autodesk Education account to complete activation. If Revit does not automatically detect the license, go to: Help > About > Manage License and choose Change License Type or Activate . Select Autodesk ID and log in with your verified education account.
5. Verify Activation Once activated, you’ll see your license type as Autodesk Education Plan or similar in the About section. The license is typically valid for one year and can be renewed as long as you remain eligible.
